It helps to rule out some that *can't* be it. (Mostly the short letter ones which are easily calculable)

I lost patience and resorted to reasonable guessing. I got a pet name for 29 and decided that was good enough.

faces, you have to apply the rules in order. The setting the highest to 1 is the last rule. It must be done after the Roman numerals. So must the squaring.

Just to see if something in the rules is throwing us off (maybe threw me off...I don't know)
RULE 3: Roman Numerals: I(1), V(5), X(10), L(50), C(100), D(500), M(1000)
Rule 7: If the last letter (it would be negative) is squared, it becomes positive.
Rule 8: If the last letter is still negative and in NEOPETS, it's like adding to a negative number. Example: Bruce: the E before Rule 8 is -2, so after it becomes -1.
...That was how I did it...I'm not sure where else things could have gone wrong...but according to my calculatons, the answer should be Draik?

I think the answer should be elephante. Will someonle please show me how you got 55 for draik. Cause I keep getting 10. Because you have to reduce the letter with the highest point value to one. making the total to come out to 10.

irishclover0921, what are you talking about? I did the math on Draik at least 10 times and every time it came out to 55. I think most people are forgetting that D is a roman numeral..
i don't think that the answer in draik when you do the rules in order i only got 7 for it
